Part of World Environment Week, client supplied a word document full of facts and figures on plastic pollution. The brief was to create a one pager infographic to give the reader an overview of the effects and seriousness of plastic pollution.
I began by selecting the most significant facts and ones that together gave the best overall picture & story of plastic pollution. I then ordered these to start with an overview of plastic products, through to the effect they have on the environment & ending on how long they take to biodegrade.

Used transparency effect to add more of a plastic look to the design. Scale and weight on the type create a hierarchy and draw the reader’s eye to some of the most important & shocking facts/figures.
