Client asked for an invitation to be designed for their black tie poker evening. This needed to have a sophisticated look & promote the poker theme of the event.
Designed the invitations to be over-sized playing cards & created an Ace, King, Queen & Jack card. Using the symbols from traditional playing cards, I created patterns for the card faces. These were then produced using Scodix which gives a raised, metallic & glossy finish to the card face to add a more luxurious feel to the invitation in-keeping with the black tie theme.
